SnapShare is made by Aakash Mehra. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your photos never leave your iPhone unless you send them, and we don't collect personal data.
Photos and the camera
SnapShare uses the camera only to take photos and scan QR codes. Photos are stored only inside SnapShare on your iPhone. They are never uploaded to us or to any server. SnapShare never saves to your Photos library by itself; a photo goes there only if you choose "Save Image" in the iOS share sheet. You can turn off "Save photos in the app", in which case photos are deleted after they are copied or shared. Deleting the app deletes all photos stored in it.
Clipboard and other apps
When Copy is on, SnapShare puts each new photo on your iPhone's clipboard so you can paste it. If you pick an app to open after each photo, SnapShare simply opens that app; it does not send the photo anywhere itself. What happens after you paste or share is governed by the app you send it to.
Face ID
If you turn on "Face ID for photos", SnapShare asks iOS to confirm it's you before showing your photos. Face ID is handled entirely by Apple; SnapShare never receives or stores your face data.
QR codes
QR codes are read on your iPhone. If a code contains a link and you tap Open, the link opens in Safari inside the app. We don't record what you scan.
Purchases
SnapShare Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check whether Pro is unlocked. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app ID and your purchase history (such as the product and the date); it does not receive your name, email or payment details. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy. Free-photo counters are stored on your device (in the iOS Keychain).
What we don't do
No accounts or sign-in. No ads. No analytics or tracking. We don't sell or share personal data.
Children
SnapShare is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
